Valencia, a well-planned, affluent community in the heart of Santa Clarita, CA lies in the northwestern corner of the Santa Clarita Valley, adjacent to Interstate 5. Along with Saugus, Newhall, and Canyon Country, Valencia merged together to create the city of Santa Clarita in 1987.

An eco-friendly area, Valencia contains trails and paths linking the entire community together, making foot and bike travel often the preferred method of transportation within the area. These trails are connected to the Santa Clara River Trail, a paved pathway about 8 miles in length.

Children and adults alike appreciate the proximity to the Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park and the adjacent Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park.

In 2006, Money Magazine rated Valencia to be one of the top 100 best places to live.
