A significant part of Sandy & Craig's real estate service now is helping Santa Clarita Area homeowners avoid foreclosure.  A sucessful Short Sale can mean the difference between a fresh start or a serious setback in the lives of many homeowners caught up in todays home loan financing mess.

A critical team member, Tracy Gallegos has the responsibilty of Short Sale Coordinator.  Tracy's responsibilities include determining specific lender requirements, coordinating documentation collection with homeowners, updating escrow officers, buyers and their Real Estate agents.

Craig reviews each file with Tracy to determine which aproach to take with the lenders. Staying in close contact with the loss mitigation departments once the short sale package is submitted to the lenders helps to keep the files on schedule.  Regular briefings with Craig on their progress and helping identify roadblocks or problems so they can quickly be resolved.

Because of our team approach, continuous training, and proactive involvement in the process, we have a 95%+ success rate in succcessful short sale negotiations, ending in closed sales with terms that result in a fresh start for homeowners.  Considering that the national average for successful short sales is less than 50%, this is a testimate to the skill of the Tracy Gallegos and the Team approach to successful short sale resolution.
