Santa Clarita - All
- The City of Santa Clarita, California, is located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The city is well known for sharing borders with Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) located in Valencia.
- Long before the California Gold Rush, the city was home to the Tavitam people, a Native American tribe that arrived around 450 AD. Once gold was discovered in California in 1842, the city became an up-and-coming place. The influx of railroads, real estate, and ranching brought many people to the area, and after the turn of the 20th century, also brought filming to the city. Many actors, including John Wayne, called Santa Clarita home for a period of time.
- Santa Clarita hosts a wealth of events throughout the year. From workshops and day camps to farmer's markets and arts events, there's no shortage of things to do in Santa Clarita.
